1999 definitely was a season of ups and downs for the Lancaster JetHawks. In addition to holding sole possession of the worst record in minor league baseball for the first time in franchise history, the JetHawks set many other positive and negative records. Most losses: 85 (68 in 1996)

Most games under .500: 37 (5 in 1996)

Longest losing streak: 12 games, from June 4-16 (8 from May 7-16, 1996)

Most home runs in season, player: 26 by Patrick Williams (25 by James Clifford in 1997)

Most career home runs: 56 by Jason Regan (45 by Clifford)

Most times swept in a series: 15 (6 in 1996)

Largest margin of victory: 22 runs, Aug. 15 vs. Lake Elsinore (21 runs June 6, 1998 vs. Modesto)

Largest margin of defeat: 15 runs, May 1 at Stockton (10 runs July 5, 1998 at High Desert)

Most home runs allowed in a season: 148 (124 in 1998)

Fewest hits in a game (tie): 2, July 12 vs. High Desert (accomplished three times previously

Most hits in a game: 28, Aug. 15 vs. Lake Elsinore (23 June 6, 1998 vs. Modesto)

Most extra-base hits in game: 27, Aug. 15 vs. Lake Elsinore (24 June 6, 1998 vs. Modesto)
